Requirements

  • DAW hostLogic Pro or GarageBand on macOS, or Ableton Live, Cubase, Studio One, FL Studio, REAPER, or another compatible VST3 host.
  • iPhone or iPadiOS/iPadOS 16 or newer for the BONKO companion app.
  • Local networkComputer and mobile device on the same non-guest Wi-Fi for normal listening.
Logic Pro supported: the macOS package includes the Audio Unit required by Logic and GarageBand.

Install in under a minute

macOS installation

  1. Unzip the downloadOpen BonkoStreamer-v2.1.1-macOS.zip.
  2. Run the installerDouble-click BonkoStreamer-v2.1.1-macOS-Installer.pkg and follow Apple Installer.
  3. Restart or rescan your DAWThe Audio Unit is installed in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/; VST3 is installed in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/.
  4. Uninstall when neededRun Uninstall BONKO Streamer.command from the download package.

Native 64-bit package

Windows installation

  1. Unzip the downloadOpen BonkoStreamer-v2.1.1-Windows.zip.
  2. Run the signed setupOpen BonkoStreamer-v2.1.1-Windows-Setup.exe and check that Windows shows publisher Philipp Bednorz.
  3. Restart or rescan your DAWBONKO is installed in the standard system VST3 folder.
  4. Uninstall when neededUse Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps → BONKO Streamer → Uninstall.

One-click mono check

Switch MONO ON in the plug-in to hear the equal-gain mono mix through both DAW output channels and in the phone stream. The setting is saved with the DAW project.
